Tallahassee Clay Supply offers bisque and Cone 5 glaze firing services for clay purchased through our store. Whether you're a home potter, hobbyist, student, or classroom instructor, our firing service provides a convenient way to complete your work using a consistent monthly firing schedule.

Acceptance cutoff: First Saturday of each month

Work received after a cutoff date will be included in the next firing cycle.
How It Works

Purchase your clay from Tallahassee Clay Supply.

Complete the firing intake form.

Drop off your work before the applicable cutoff date.

We fire your work according to the monthly schedule.

Pick up your completed pieces when notified.

Pieces must be clearly marked for identification.

Only clay bodies and glazes suitable for Cone 5 firing may be submitted.

Ceramic firing is an inherently variable process. Cracking, warping, glaze defects, and other firing-related issues can occur despite proper handling and firing practices.
